Hedonistic and very, very rich. Blockbuster. Racy. Masses of fruit on the nose, with plum, berry, and toasted oak. Full-bodied, with chunky tannins and a long, long finish. Fruit bomb. From a tiny section of the Barolo maestro's own vineyard in Falletto. Best after 2010. 950 cases made. (JS)
