Wine Advocate ReviewCapezzana has begun to give its top wines, including this Bordeaux blend, more bottle time before release, a policy which has certainly paid off in the excellent 2001 Ghiaia delle Furbe, very Medocain in its black currant, cedar, and graphite nose, its poised and balanced flavors of blackberry fruit, gravel, rosemary, and thyme, and its polished but lengthy finish. The elegance is deceptive here theres plenty of flesh and weight, enough to guarantee a good 15 more years of satisfying drinking.
