Fresh fig and grapefruit come to mind with this effusively fruity white that sports bright, refreshing acidity and a sleek, lean body. Hints of freshly mowed grass and minerals add complexity, and the finish is long and delightful. California grapes, Australia-style winemaking. Ready now.

This wine is so classic, so delicious and so refreshing, it almost doesnrsquo;t need a review mdash; after all, who doesnrsquo;t already know and love the flagship Geyser Peak white? Instantly appealing to any Pinot drinker looking for an upgrade, or a New Zealand white drinker looking for something less jarring, any hostess looking for an all-around enjoyable party or dinner white. In other words, pretty much any white wine drinker would love the Geyser Peak Sauvignon Blanc! Medium-bodied, with great acidity and softer white peach and pear flavors rounding out the traditional grapefruit and dill.

Yoursquo;re going into a frame of mind, where the place is here and the time is now, traveling into a dimension where a medley of grapefruit and lemon grass flavors sing and dance on the palate, transmitting a crescendo of tantalizing impulses to the senses, seeking only to satisfy the primal passion that connects us all to each other. An area known only to those who dare to enter the ldquo;Winelight Zone.rdquo; Try it with your favorite sushi. (Thanks, Rod!)

Classic aromas of grapefruit, citrus, lemon zest and lemongrass jump out of the glass and proudly proclaim the winersquo;s varietal character. A generous, fruit-forward palate shows juicy citrus flavors of grapefruit and tangerine, balanced by bright, crisp acidity. The pleasant finish is persistent with great length of flavor. Perfect as an apeacute;ritif, this wine also makes an ideal partner to oysters and nearly any shellfish, as well as salads and light fish and chicken dishes.

This California white is both flavorful and value-priced. It's tangy and refreshing, with passion fruit, grapefruit and lime flavors that wrap together in a crisp finish.

A good buy at this price for a dry, crisp wine of considerable charm. Itrsquo;s layered in Meyer lemon, lime, peach, green apple, honey and vanilla flavors, and finishes long and spicy.
