External Reviews for Geyser Peak Chardonnay Alexander Valley
Pale straw in color with attractive green hues with aromas that showcase pear and tropical fruit characters, complemented by subtle nuances of smoke, butter and vanillin oak. Flavors display classic melon fruits with nicely balanced oak and a touch of crispness. A well integrated complex wine with a soft creamy texture and long finish.
A truly wonderful Chardonnay from head winemaker Daryl Groom. A golden color in the glass; hints of smoke and vanilla rise from the nose to wrap around sweet melon, banana, cream and a lovely level of acidity. The tastes of creamy lemon and spice over soft grapefruit and citrus are attractively understated in this evenly balanced wine. A great aperitif as well as a scrumptious match for roast turkey, ham and spicy cream soups.
Ripe and tasty, with lots of hazelnut and Brazil nut flavors around the core of peach and apple flavors, turning complex on the finish. Drink now through 2006.

The vision of Aussie Mick Schroeter is definitely showing in this Alexander Valley winery's output, evidenced in this case by the fresh and lively citrus at the core of this enticing Chardonnay. Less oak-centric (though there is oak) and more crisp and tangy in approach, this refreshing white brings plenty of pear and tropical fruit.
This chardonnay comes to you from Geyser Peak Winery: Eight time winner of the Wine & Spirits "Winery of the Year." The wine shows a nose of tropical fruit, toast, vanilla, and butterscotch. Intense fruit flavors on the palate are balanced with a creamy texture and crisp finish.
