Geyser Peak Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2004
This was brought in for the owners to taste and we got the remainder to taste from. This is drinking fabulously right now! Perfectly ripe cab nose and the palate follows suit. Delicious. Drink now. It's peaked. - Tasted at Marché Bacchus 2/20/10
On the nose there are loads of soft red fruit and some mineral. Lovely ripe fruit, it's drinking great right now. Rich and decadent feel. Tons of red berry and some floral notes.
Black currant and peppery, fine and thick. I liked it! It was a nice evening and everyone's power was off in the neighborhood!

Aging in French oak barrels softens the otherwise firm tannins and introduces hints of toasted vanilla and leather on the palate. Luscious blueberry and blackberry flavors are refined and perfectly balanced by a spiciness that lingers on a long and elegant finish.
