Geyerhof Kremstal Rosensteig Gruner Veltliner 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

88 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): Maier’s 2010 Gruner Veltliner Rosensteig exudes ripe fresh apple accompanied by a salad’s worth of crisp, juicy, lightly peppery greens. Silken-textured and surprisingly gentle for its vintage, this nevertheless finishes with fresh lime and a fine sense of vivacity, all in all a good example of how judicious de-acidification could succeed. I would plan on drinking within 2-3 years. (Oct 2011)
