Gewürztraminer is one of those very aromatic, white grape varieties that's either a love or hate. We love this one because it's not over the top and it's dry. Smells like a mixed bouquet of wildflowers and lychee fruit.

Winemaker's Notes:

A very special wine. Once tasted, never forgotten - so pleasing is its aromatic richness and strength. Fine spices, cloves and the gentle fragrance of roses characterise and emphasise the traits and the overall elegance of this impressive wine. It is here, on the hills between Termeno and Appiano, that the Gewürztraminer grape originated. The wine is an ideal accompaniment to fish dishes, especially crustaceans, lobster and crab or to foie gras and other pâtés. Yet it is also a fine wine for enjoying on its own. Grapes Gewürztraminer Zone of production Different vineyards in Appiano and Termeno Breeding Gujot Grape harvest end of september Yield 60 hl/ha Winemaking Fermentation in stainless steel tanks Analysis alcohol 13,7 % vol. residual sugar 6,0 g/l acidity 4,7 g/l
