Gevrey Chambertin Premier Cru Dugat Py Burgundy 2008

External Review by Morrell & Company:

Good deep ruby-red. Wild, expressive aromas of black raspberry and smoked meat, with a very ripe chocolatey aspect. A step up in texture and sweetness from the Coeur du Roi, with a richer mid-palate giving the wine a more harmonious character today. There's an enticing sweetness but also excellent mineral lift to the flavors of blackberry, violet and game. Finishes with building, ripe tannins and excellent length. A tender style of 2008 in the context of this cellar.
