For 2000 years, the Malbec grape has been grown in the Cahors region of France. It is usually deeply colored, hence the name Pigmentum, meaning “thing that gives color.” Sturdy and aggressive, with a little of that gamey wildness that Old World fans find so alluring. Enjoy this delicious wine with hamburgers, sausages or hard cheese.
Spicy damson nose. Rich and ripe, with high acidity and firm tannins. Long with a touch of liquorice.
