What to Expect

The Gamay grape finds it's home in France's Burgundy region where it is responsible for the red wines of Beaujolais. Producing light to medium bodied wines with modest tannins and good acidity, Gamay is unfairly associated with Beaujolais Nouveau. It is capable of producing wonderful, cherry and raspberry flavored wines with earthy hints of violets and spice.

Really light and strawberry like. Fruitier than some of the other Georges Duboeuf's I have had before without being too much like a fruit juice. Perfect for summer.
