Gemtree Vineyards Tempranillo Mclaren Vale Luna Roja 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Color: Deep red, purple and black hues. Nose: Violets, red jubes, Satsuma plums, cinnamon, raspberry conserve, Chinese 5 spices and savoury oak. Palate: The front palate is dominated by plush, intense red jubey fruits with subtle amounts of liquorice, dark chocolate fanning across the mid to back. The 2010 Luna Roja is a fleshy and savoury wine with velvety tannins. Food: All tapas foods especially chorizo.
