I couldn't stop smelling this wine. It has a rich buttery aroma. This wine was recommended as part of my "Degustation" at the Alpenglow Stube at Keystone, CO.

Bloodstone Tempranillo 2005 - Gemtree: Bloodstone Tempranillo 2005 - Rotwein von GemtreeJa, ein Spanier aus Australien - wir empfehlen diese würzige Neuheit wärmstens!Im Glas leuchtet ein fast schwarzes Purpurrot. Das Bukett duftet intensiv nach getrockneten Früchten wie Backpflaumen und Rosinen, dazu zerlassene Butter und ein Mix von Gewürzen und dunklen Beeren.Am Gaumen spielen diese Noten erneut wieder. Sehr saftig beginnt der Auftakt, danach folgen Eindrücke von Weihnachtsgebäck, Nelken und Zimt. Der Gemtree Bloodstone Tempranillo 2005 besitzt einen mittelkräftigen Körper, seine feine Säure und Tannine sind sehr gut eingebunden. Es ergibt sich ein weiches Mundgefühl und der Abgang ist schön lang anhaltend.
