Gemtree Vineyards Shiraz Mclaren Vale Tadpole 2009
Deep red color, purple/black hues. Violets, spicy red currants, plums, raspberry conserve on the nose. The front palate is dominated by plush, intense red fruits with subtle amounts of liquorice and chocolate fanning across the mid to back. The 2009 Bloodstone is a structured wine with soft velvety tannins.

This is a really juicy, bright, young Shiraz. Big raspberry and red fruit flavors with soft tannins. Delicious, and at $11 a nice bargain.
A delicious little wine from an environmentally conscious vineyard.

The Tadpole Shiraz is an untamed animal – zero filtration, zero fining, and minimal intervention. Dark berries combine with rosemary and hints of mineral in the mouth. This wine has concentration, yet it remains focused, with balanced acidity and soft tannins. This is your classic balcony wine: natural, juicy, soft, and drinkable.
