Gautheron Morgon Côte du Py 2006

Member Review by drdebs:

Funny, mousy and rotten fruit aromas at first. These blew off, but there were never very prominent aromas even when it opened up. A slight whiff of raspberries. On the palate however the wine was delightful, unusually full-bodied for a gamay and very dark purplish red in color. Flavors of blackberry and raspberry. Good acidity. Had with French Onion Soup.
