Gattavecchi is a family-run winery located in Podere Banditella in Montepulciano, Italy. Its vineyards are located in Argiano, Caggiole and Ascianello considered three of the best zones for growing Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese). Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is their main house style for which they are best known, but they also produce Chianti, Rosso di Montepulciano, Chianti and Vernaccia as well as vin santo, grappa and olive oil.

Simple but nice Italian white. Slight acidity, light citrus fruits but not much complexity. A decent mid-week summer evening refresher.
