Now this really is a bargain: based on 2002, a lovely strong personality from the Pinot Noir and Bollinger village of Ay. Powerful Pinot perfume. Jolly, exuberant, very, very slightly coarse but dry and extremely correct. Quite big - as well it might be with 90 per cent Pinot Noir in the blend. Just £18.10 a bottle at Haynes Hanson & Clark.
