What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Just a classic Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely texture, slippery almost yet light and fresh with acid driven flavors of grapefruit and gooseberry with a touch of orchard fruits on the nose. This has a subtle complexity that will satisfy the most discriminating yet is seductively easy to drink. 91pts

The Dow Jones American Sauvignon Blanc Index Good/Very Good: Vibrant, grassy nose. Very pleasant and easy to drink and true to its roots. Hard not to embrace. The Wall Street Journal May 18, 2007 The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc shows bright, forward aromas of ripe grapefruit, citrus zest and gooseberry. Flavors mirror the aromas, which are enhanced with hints of white peach, apricot, and honeydew. A heavenly mouthfeel follows, with a lingering crisp, refreshing finish. While an ideal companion to cheese plates, shellfish, and cold vegetables, this Sauvignon Blanc will also stand up to rich, spicy Thai and fish dishes.
