Garnacha de Fuego 2007
A bold, ripe Grenache from the fiery region of Calatayud, Spain. This wine presents luscious berries, plums, and a hint of licorice on the nose. Dark fruit flavors dominate with hints of baking spices, and candied fruit ending in a silky smooth finish. This is a deal that can't be beat!Cheese Pairings: Idiazabal, Valdeon, IbericoFood Pairings: Grilled Lamb, Roasted Duck, Red Snapper
Excellent wine for the price - wine spectator recommended as best buy and for $7.99 it really is - very flavorful, rich and light at the same time - well balanced - drinks like a 20-25 dollar wine
excellent value, can't go wrong with this wine at this price, full mouth feel, balanced flavors
Pretty darn good for the price point, though I have to admit that grenache isn't my favorite grape. Might try one of those aerators on it to see what it does to the flavor.
This was a good drinking wine and good with food. It tasted great the second day too.
Very pleasant, almost barbecue aroma. Light tannins and I like the smooth finish. Good price point.
Strong start with bold flavors leading to a pleasant end. Solid Red with great flavors.
Great value. Rich, fruity, velvety on the tongue.
