Gamble Family Vineyards Syrah St. Helena 2008
Deep musty fruit, kind of like an old cellar. Mushroomy earth and forest floor with great fruit opening up on the aroma. Good tart acidity, nice tannic structure and balance, lovely dark chocolate finish.Add winemaker's notes

Distinctly vegetal on the nose...good tannin and subtle acidity make up a pleasant palette that is reminiscent of raspberries and some black fruit.
