- A rock-out-with-your-gallo-out kind of wine. A lot of bang for your buck. Admittedly I delicately sipped (chugged) this wine with Thai food, but heartier fare would more likely suit this warm (yet not too heavy) selection. One good friend of mine maintains a slightly superstitious rule of thumb: the more modern or ostentatious a label, the less likely you’ll get your money’s worth. - This wine showcases the softer, fuller and richer side of Merlot. The aromasare warm and inviting with hints of crushed berries, vanilla and spice. The palate follows withdark and deep flavors of blackberry pie, wild berries and jam with a lush, round mouthfeel.
