- The Gallo family farms eight benchland vineyards in the Sonoma County appellations of Sonoma Coast, Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, and Russian River Valley. Selected vineyard sites within our vineyard portfolio produce the grapes for all E & J Gallo Northern Sonoma Estate Bottled wines. Only the best of the best fruit from each vineyard is ever considered for possible inclusion in these, our finest cuvees. After an intense selection process in both the vineyards and winery, the final blend for our 1996 Estate Bottled Cabernet was 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our Stefani Vineyard in the read more...Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. While fruit from Stefani vineyard had been used in previous vintages, this marks the first release of an Estate wine blended exclusively from this vineyard. (hide)
