A nice light green colour and a citrus-y nose. Served cool, this wine was light, crisp and altogether pleasant. Tart Granny Smith topnotes with hints of lime, and a dry finish combine to form a decent white wine.

Apple & apricot, full of fruit. Dry, easy to drink with a smooth long finish.

Crisp, juicy acidity and tangy flavors of Meyer lemons and limes make this wine immediately appealing. Partial barrel fermentation adds a touch of toast and cream, but a keen racy freshness really is the hallmark.

Readers looking for an apple skin and orange rind-scented, crisp, dry, medium-bodied white should check out the 2007 Pinot Gris. It is a nicely textured, fresh, lively wine to enjoy over the next 1-2 years.

Clean and pristine as a cool mountain stream, vibrantly flowing with rich honeydew melon flavors.

There's little or no oak on this wine to mask the pure fruit flavors that are boosted by succulent acidity. It's an explosion of pineapples, tart green apples, figs, spicy melons and kiwi fruit, with a tangy, white peppery finish. Easy to enjoy, yet fancy enough for that white tablecloth.

Scents of lemon and orange fill this light white. It's fresh as coastal fog, to chill for sole in lemon butter.

A real pleasing wine, all tank-fermented and aged, is the crisp, fresh, richly fruity 2005 Pinot Gris, which is certainly a food-friendly wine.

There sure is a lot of fruitiness in this wine from a cool, ocean-influenced region. Suggests everything from apples and peaches to melons and figs. It's basically dry, with pretty good acids. Could be a bit firmer, but it's juicy and rich.
