Food Pairings for Gallo Family Vineyards Moscato Sonoma Valley Twin Valley
Pale straw yellow with thick, quick forming legs. Honey, peach, lemon, and hints of caramel on an overall sweet and simple nose. On the palate it is syrupy and sweet, with honey, lemon, orange, and peach predominating. It is a bit too thick and heavy on the tongue, lacking the acidity to balance the sweetness. The finish is sweet and peachy. An easy to drink, but slightly cloying dessert-style wine.
nice, easy, inexpensive white wine
I'm not an expert wine tester but I know what I like and what I don't like. I like this wine. It's sweeter than most of the other moscato wines I have tasted and it's mellow without being boring. It's a rather inexpensive wine that I will purchase again.
