- It isnt often that anyone other than a winemaker pays attention to the color of a wine, but the rich, golden hue of this Limited Selection Chardonnay cannot go unnoticed. Here, the color is a hint at what awaits in the glass. Simply pulling the cork unleashes an avalanche of sweet smells. Toasted brioche, caramel, roasted nuts, pear tartin, golden delicious apple and sweet cream dominate the aromas and are tied together with a ribbon of Santa Ynez Valley mineral character.
