- Creamy, rich and spicy are the first aromas out of the glass. The new French oak is nicely integrated. With a few minutes in the glass, the ripe pear, peach and dried apple scents emerge. Brown spices and an elusive floral character complete the bouquet. The first sip of this Chardonnay is bright, fresh and clean. Distinct lemon essence and snappy green apple flavors comprise the fruit element, but there is a lingering sweetness in the finish which indicates the wines potential to enrich and develop over time. Enjoy this wine over the next two years with lightly seasoned poultry and seafood dishes.
