Winemakers Notes
Having been involved in the development of La Turque at Maison Guigal, Pierre Gaillard is more than familiar with the interplay between oak and fine Côte-Rôtie. This is perfectly demonstrated by this wonderful cuvée, made from the very best grapes, with its beautiful notes of tapenade, smoky bacon and violets lifted somewhat ethereally by 10% Viognier.
