The wine has improved since our last tasting 3 months ago - for ethical reasons we did not change our initial rating but we re-wrote our tasting notes. Bright golden color. Pleasant nose of white flowers, honeysuckle, almonds and spices. Medium bodied, round, grippy with delicious flavors of ripe apricots, apples, and poached pears. Well-balanced, and with an unusually long vanillin finish for a wine of that price. Can be cellared until 2005 when it will have more complex notes. Best with white meats in sauces, cold cuts or goat cheeses. Great value.

Bright golden color. Pleasant nose of white flowers and honeysuckle. Medium bodied, instantly grippy with complex flavors of ripe apricots, apples, honeydew and vanillin. Well balanced and with a very long vanillin finish. Good value. Can be cellared for a couple of years. Ideal with fish with sauces, cold cuts or goat cheeses.
