- Deep garnet color. Nice nose of ripe cherries, prunes and cacao. Medium bodied, smooth and full textured with a good balance between red fruit flavors, licorice and blackberries. Still young, this wine can age for 5 or 6 years. Persistent finish of red fruit. Pleasant to drink anytime. Goes well with fowl (duck), cold cuts or dry cheeses.
