- Good Balance; Persistent Fruitiness; Great Value for Price
Deep garnet color. Nice nose of ripe cherries, prunes, and cacao. Medium bodied, supple, with a good balance between red fruit flavors, licorice, and blackberries. Very smooth tannins which allow this wine to age 4 or 5 years. Long finish of red fruit. This wine goes well with duck and turkey (duck comfit) or charcuterie. Original and delicious.
