The Moschofilero contributes a vibrant, floral flavour while the Roditis provides a smooth lemony character. One of the pioneers of the modern Greek wine revolution Gaia Estate was established in 1994 by Greek winemakers Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos. Operating two different wineries they make cutting edge wines in both Nemea and Santorini. Selected grapes are destemed and crushed. Only free-run must is retained from Roditis grape variety. Fermentation (approx.20 days at 16° C) is followed by blending of Roditis & Moschofilero wines. Grapes : Moschofilero 60%, Roditis Pelponnese 40% Region : Greece / Peloponnese / Peloponnese PGI Maker : Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos Notes : Two traditional Greek varieties combine to give an elegant wine: the Moschofilero contributes a vibrant, floral flavour while the Roditis provides a smooth lemony character. Serve : Notios white is the perfect accompaniment to appetisers or light meals. ABV : 12.00%
