Food Pairings for Gaia Estate Agiorgitiko Nemea
The best Greek red wine at the London Wine Fair, this has a deep colour from 40 days' maceration, oak (50% new) still marked on the nose, with ripe blackberry/black cherry fruit and lovely length of flavor. It could be kept for at least 10 years. Gaia Estate has long been known for ots suberb white from Santorini, and its prestige red is a triumph.
