Cherries and cranberries loaded with great spice, in fact there's an awful lot of spice. Well integrated oak with this fresh wine. Great.
A must try pinot! Fruit filled nose, lite on the palate. Aboundance of fresh strawberries and raspberries with peppered cherry jam finish.

Anderson Valley Pinot IS getting a lot attention lately, and what a rare find this wine is! At production of only 400 cases per year this is a treat to be sure. The nose smells like cherries and strawberries grown on Granny's farm. A bit of that rustic hay and barn-yard smell comes through as well. On the palate it tastes like tart strawberries up front but mellows out in the mid palate and the finish lingers with a hint of bell peppers, capers and Chinese Five Spice. Wow! This drinks nicely now, but look out, in another couple years you will wish you had bought more.
As a relatively new wine drinker I have had a hard time finding a Pinot that I like. It was getting to the point where I didn't think it was worth continuing to try new Pinot Noir when I just didn't enjoy it. This wine was completely opposite of the sentiment I just expressed, I proclaim this the best Pinot I have ever drank.
Although the nose was not very striking, the taste was delicious. Green apples and a mild, sour cherry flavor mix together to create a well-rounded and balanced pinot with a great finish. Way to go Cali!
Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is gaining a lot of notoriety and buzz over the past few months. This Pinot Noir from Fulcrum adds to the hype and lives up to it from start to finish. The nose brings to mind mulling spice and cranberry juice which leads to tart berry flavors and cedar woodsy action on the palette. The finish is peppercorn and jalapeno peppers softly nudging at each other and it goes on for days. This is a fantastic Pinot Noir if you're looking for an example of the quality coming out of the Anderson Valley. Everything about the wine, from the packaging to the color right down to the everlasting finish speaks of quality and value and makes this wine a special treat.
