Good wine for the price. Found this at the local Sam's club.

If you enjoy wine and like to drink a couple glasses a day, the monthly cost certainly adds up even if you're in the modest $10-$20 bottle range. Do the math. A few glasses a day equals a couple bottles a week, equals $120 a month at a mid-range $15 a bottle cost. So, what's an everyday wine drinker to do? - Find a good quality bargain bulk red. This is a dicey category, and such a quest can be a challenge. Wines in this class range from "I can't wait to finish this bottle...er, maybe I'll use it as a cooking wine..." to "Hmmmmmm, not bad. Bet if I served this in a fancy bottle to my wine snob pals, I'd have a good laugh as they sing its praises..." The Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlo mix from 2010 fits in the latter category. It's just a nice, unassuming, and pleasant everyday red that's very drinkable - rather enjoyable, actually. I'm finding it's going very nicely with the leftover Chinese chicken curry from last night... So much so, I've just poured a second glass. I like this wine. Nothin' fancy, just a nice solid everyday red with enough raspberry fruitiness and notes of vanilla to keep it interesting and differentiate it from the boring (and awful) domestic bulk stuff in its price range. No kick whatsoever going down, it's quite smooth, actually. Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlo may have possibly earned its place as my steady Eddy "go to" bulk red when I'm not in the mood to experiment. It's really a terrific bargain at $7.99 for a big 1.5 liter bottle.
