Food Pairings for Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon
I''m always looking for a good economical everyday drinker, so when I picked up a bottle of 2007 frontera cabernet sauvignon - I was pleasantly surprised. The nose was somewhat vacant and raw, but the wine had a smooth mouth feel and a medium body. There was a nice burst of freshly squashed red berries finishing with a crisp acidity but not tart. I would recommend this wine be served in the 60 to 65 degree range to help soften the edges. Again, relative to it's cost at $8.99/1.5L, this is worthy of a second purchase. I would rate it a best buy at 85 pts.
