- We had this at a highly regarded fine dining restaurant in DC. I chose a pinot noir based on the different types of food our group was having. It did not disappoint. The sweet aroma of blackberries, floral notes almost made the bottle worth it. A couple of sips revealed the soft, smooth, fruity notes of black fruit and vanilla. It was the perfect bottle for the evening. Even non-wine enthusiasts loved it.
