- Grassy nose, with Bordeaux tendencies. Wonderful balance on the palate, with superb tannins and a rich, unfolding finish.

- Our Cabernet Sauvignon is a generous and fruit-filled wine that deliciously reflects the spectacular 1996 vintage. Its distinctive black-fruit, cassis and currant aromas are typical of wines grown in the upland soils of Oakville and Rutherford's western benches. The addition of a small amount of Carneros Cabernet from the Truchard Vineyard and a touch of Rutherford Cabernet Franc adds power and a certain intriguing raciness to the final wine.
