- Medium ruby. The Friggiali offers nuances of dark cherries, underbrush, iron and tar on a firmly structured frame with excellent length. Owing to its hard tannins it comes across as somewhat rustic in style and rough around the edges. My impression is that bottle aging will only help to a limited extent.

- Lots of floral and berry character on the nose. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a medium finish. Best after 2008. 88 WS
