Frescobaldi Remole Toscana 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Remole, "Reh-moe-leh" is a Frescobaldi blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Savignon grapes sourced from vineyards in central Tuscany. These two varieties have typically been used for this region's most traditional wines. Remole is a remarkably versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a wide range of cucine: from Oriental traditions to classic Mediterranean dishes featuring grains and meat, such as cured meats and sausages, barbecued or boiled meats and vegetables.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
