The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc reveals lots of fresh, lively, melony fruit, light to medium body, and hints of citrus oil and background spice (which I suspect comes from the tiny amount of aging in wood). Drink it over the next year.
This sauvignon is infused with sweet lime flavors, both of the zest and the pulp. It's clean and mouthwatering, with plenty of lift to match grilled mahi-mahi or other game fish.
The cool climate enables Frei Brothers to produce a Sauvignon Blanc that exhibits a crisp, mineral-like mouth feel. With citrus and cut grass aromas and a long yet clean finish.
