Rating: 17/20 - As reviewed by Jancis Robinson More Rutherford dust on this wine whose minerality almost verges on rusty nail characters. Underneath there is some bold ripe fruit. No hurry to drink this one.

Deep ruby, with an inviting nose of dark cherries, juniper, mint, cinnamon, clove, and earthy hints of dried rose petals. Packed with juicy berry flavors, mostly cherries and raspberry jam, this Sycamore shows appealing traces of both mint and dark chocolate. Good balance of fruit, acid, and toasty oak. Finishes long and smooth. A keeper!

Just had this bottle at 14 years old... Held up very well, softer more supple tannin structure, nose packed with cherry and mint, slight earthy quality as well.
