Freefall Pinot Gris 2008
Sourced from one of the best Pinot Gris vineyards in Waipara (located 40 minutes north of Christchurch) the fruit was crushed and destemmed before cold settling the juice. The texture and viscocity resulted from a low press extraction. A cool ferment built the fresh fruit characters, which was then followed by 3 months on light fermentation lees. It was finally fined and filtered before release.
