Classically taut and tight lemon, lime incipient petrol and slightly vegetal forest undergrowth note rise from the glass like a rising souffle. In the mouth this is chiseled elegance with a great intensity of flavor yet little weight and no fat. It's got cut and definition to spare and will no doubt improve with some time in the cellar but this is very fine now with excellent purity to the citrus toned fruits and a lovely emergent mineral tone on the finale. 92pts

Pale golden straw with green hues. Intense stone fruit and wet stone characters. Restrained floral and citrus aromatics with a touch of honeysuckle. Powerful and complex, this mouth filling wine shows delicate but concentrated guava and kiwi fruit characters. A fresh lifted wine with quartz and clay mineral notes. An approachable creamy texture with persistent length and a very generous finish. An expressive and powerful wine that opens up in the glass, this wine reflects the uncompromising criteria used in fruit selection, has a purity of flavour and exceptional balance that results in a wine that is focused and intense with layered complexities enabling it to be enjoyed now and for years to come.
