The 2009 Zinfandel is bright scarlet in color and possesses aromas of raspberries, plums, leather, brown sugar and white pepper. Medium bodied on the palate, flavors of sweet plum and caramel are balanced with silky tannins, earthiness and a kick of spice and acidity.
Opaque purple. A complex, heady bouquet evokes candied dark berries, vanilla and mocha, with a spicy topnote. Lush and expansive, offering gently sweet, oak-spiced cassis and blueberry flavors that gain energy in the glass. In a plush, polished style, finishing with smooth tannins and lingering spiciness.
