Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

The least expensive Chardonnay, the excellent 2007 Napa (20,000 cases produced) offers notes of poached pears, white peaches, and citrus oil in a medium-bodied, crisp style revealing hints of honeysuckle and spice. Complex, well-balanced, and flavorful, this is a serious Chardonnay to enjoy over the next few years.

Clean and vibrant, with rich fig, honeysuckle, melon and light citrus notes that give it an elegant mouthfeel, gaining depth on the finish. Drink now through 2010.

Winemaker's Notes:

Frank Family Vineyards Chardonnay has beautifully ripe aromas of a freshly baked apple pie, old fashioned vanilla cream soda, and roasted almonds. Finely textured, fleshy and smooth on the palate this wine has seamlessly integrated toasty oak and concentrated fruit flavors leading to a long elegant finish.
