Frank Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2010
The gorgeous dark and dense magenta hues give sense to this wine's concentration and power. The bouquet is loaded with intense aromas of cassis, hints of dry mission figs, and ripe plum compote that mélange in harmony, enhanced by cedar and leather scents. The palate is lush with savory dark fruit and a hint of sweet oak and black pepper. The wine is well structured with soft tannins that envelop the palate.

This smells smoky and intense, then tastes silky and soft, a gentle rain of fruit that builds from strawberries to blueberries as the wine takes on air. It has the texture of merlot, ready for any grilled meats.
Very rich and ripe, with luxurious blackberry and cherry jam, chocolate and sweet oak flavors. Feels soft and complex in the mouth, with thick but gentle tannins. It’s a little generic, in the modern style, but tasty.
Bright medium red-ruby. Inviting, fruit-driven aromas of black cherry, cassis, mocha, pipe tobacco and menthol. Rich, silky and seamless, with lively flavors of dark fruits, tobacco and exotic spices. Finishes with broad, fine-grained tannins and good verve. This attractive midweight offers considerable early appeal.
The dark ruby/purple-colored 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon includes small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. It offers delicious black currant and licorice characteristics as well as impressive purity, medium to full body and a textured, round finish. It should drink well for 7–8 years.
Well-proportioned and medium-weight, with red candy, spice and pomegranate notes that turn simple on the finish. Shows plenty of tannins. Drink now through 2019.
