Francois Cazin Cour Cheverny Vendange Manuelles 2008

External Review by The Wine Buyer:

Made entirely from Romorantin, a rare and ancient variety now only planted in the tiny appellation of Cour-Cheverny. Romorantin is naturally high in acidity and often the reflects the minerally soils in which it is grown. Cazin's Cour-Cheverny shows delicate floral aromas, tinged with hints of hazelnuts and apricots. The wine is medium bodied with a nice, mineral tinge.
