An excellent value at $16, this Napa Chardonnay is buttery and lightly oaked with sophisticated crisp acidity. Not overly fruity, subtle pear flavors underlie a smooth clean flavor profile with lingering notes of vanilla.

Tight, youthful and taut, with a rich, complex core of pear, spice, honey and toast flavors. Tastes young and tight now, but the flavor profile is impressive; should become more forward and attractive with a little age and hold well through 1995.
