Peaches and cream, apples with some spice tones and honey all comes together on the appetizing nose. This is a touch sweet on entry without sufficient acidity to brighten the palate so this remains a bit sweet right through the modest finish. Don't get me wrong, there is some acid here, and the flavors of apples, honey, and pineapple are attractive, it's just that this has no definition in the mouth and limps to a modest finish. 83pts

Hints of mineral and buttery oak dance along round apple and pear flavors. You can find adequate spice and a crisp, clean, sustained finish, all warmed by the apple pie zing of cinnamon.

Here's a nice, bright Chardonnay that can be described as Chablisian. It's bone dry and very bright in tangy acidity, with a squirt of lime juice over Meyer lemons, pineapples and green apples. A touch of oak adds just the right note of buttered toast. Easy to find, with 73,000 cases produced.
