Add your revieware you kidding....who wrote these tasting notes and feed back....Sofia or Francis??? Pass and go straight to another producer that can produce something .....fresh and crisp??? moldy and mushy.....that would be better....little hint...if it is purchased at costco.....and you need a fork lift to get into your car...it is probably not that drinkable. Coppola is great at putting labels on bottles, however the quality of what goes in there is SOOOO in need of reality that the book does not match the cover. Beyond smelling great,,,,,it leaves alot to be desired. Notes to Wine Maker.....keep trying....

Our original Sofia sparkling wine was created as a gift from a father to his daughter as a celebration of love and beauty. Francis Coppola Sofia Riesling continues this tradition by bringing you a wine that is equally graceful, provocative, and alluring. Riesling is a highly impressionable grape that can taste vastly different depending on where it's grown and what level of ripening has been achieved. In fact, this varietal can be crafted in styles ranging from bone dry to extremely sweet. Because we want our Sofia Riesling to pair well with a variety of foods, we have created an off-dry style that has just a touch of sweetness offset by a crisp natural acidity in order to maintain a good balance on the palate.

Our 2008 vintage offers an intoxicating perfume of pears, minerals, and apricots along with luscious flavors of white peaches, green apples, and a hint of pineapple.
