The color of the wine is deep garnet, with brighter ruby along the edges. The nose is a pleasant combination of leather, raisin, a hint of mint and some floral notes dancing around the perimeter. The taste is wonderfully fruit forward, with some nice ripe berries and a hint of tartness that quickly transitions into some dried herbs and a bit of spice midpalate. A nice wine for everyday drinking. Recently returned from San Francisco where they get $32 per bottle, here in Washington, it's $15 go figure. This is a moderate grape flavor with an apparant tastes of raisin. The finish is ok with a nice feeling tannin reaction.
Good wine for the price. Though there are better cabs if you wanted to splurge an extra couple of bucks.
